1. Overview
At Belula Art, we are committed to providing high-quality art prints and custom artwork. We understand that sometimes items may arrive damaged, and we want to make the return process as smooth as possible for our customers.
This Return Policy applies to all purchases made through belula.art and is specific to customers in the United States. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
2. Return Eligibility
2.1 Damaged Items Only
We only accept returns for items that are damaged upon delivery. This includes:
- Items that arrive with visible damage (tears, scratches, dents, etc.)
- Items with manufacturing defects that affect the quality or appearance
- Items that are damaged during shipping and arrive in unusable condition
- Items that do not match the product description due to a manufacturing error
2.2 Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Custom Artwork: All custom artwork created from your uploaded images cannot be returned or refunded, as these are personalized products made specifically for you
- Non-Damaged Items: Items that arrive in perfect condition but you simply changed your mind, don't like the color, size, or style
- Items Damaged by Customer: Items that become damaged after delivery due to mishandling, accidents, or normal wear and tear
- Items Outside Return Window: Items for which the 30-day return window has expired
- Final Sale Items: Any items marked as "final sale" or "non-returnable" at the time of purchase
3. Return Timeframe
3.1 30-Day Window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return for a damaged item. The return window begins on the day the item is delivered to your shipping address.
To be eligible for a return, you must:
- Contact us within 30 days of delivery
- Provide proof of damage (photos or description)
- Receive return authorization from our customer service team
3.2 Late Returns
Returns requested after the 30-day window will not be accepted. We recommend inspecting your items immediately upon delivery and contacting us as soon as possible if you notice any damage.
4. How to Request a Return
4.1 Contact Customer Service
To initiate a return for a damaged item, please contact our customer service team:

- Include: Your order number, item description, photos of the damage, and a brief description of the issue
4.2 Required Information
When requesting a return, please provide:
- Order number or confirmation email
- Item name and SKU (if available)
- Date of delivery
- Clear photos showing the damage from multiple angles
- Detailed description of the damage
- Your preferred resolution (replacement or refund)
4.3 Return Authorization
After reviewing your request, our customer service team will determine if the item qualifies for return. If approved, you will receive a Return Authorization (RA) number and instructions for returning the item.
Do not return items without a Return Authorization number. Returns sent without authorization may not be processed or refunded.
5. Return Process
5.1 Packaging Requirements
When returning a damaged item, please:
- Use the original packaging if possible, or secure packaging that protects the item during transit
- Include all original accessories, documentation, and components that came with the item
- Include a copy of your Return Authorization number inside the package
- Use a trackable shipping method (we recommend USPS, UPS, or FedEx)
5.2 Return Shipping
For damaged items, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label. If you prefer to use your own shipping method, you may do so, but we recommend using the provided label to ensure proper tracking and handling.
Important: We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping if you choose not to use our provided return label. Please ensure the item is properly packaged and insured if using your own shipping method.
5.3 Inspection Process
Once we receive your returned item, our team will inspect it to verify the damage. This process typically takes 3-5 business days. We will contact you with the results of the inspection and next steps.
6. Refunds and Replacements
6.1 Refund Options
If your return is approved, you may choose one of the following options:
- Full Refund: We will refund the full purchase price (excluding original shipping costs) to your original payment method
- Replacement: We will send you a replacement item of the same product at no additional cost (shipping included)
- Store Credit: We can issue store credit for the purchase amount, which can be used for future orders
6.2 Refund Processing Time
Once your return is approved and processed:
- Refunds to credit/debit cards: 10-14 business days
- Refunds to PayPal: 5-7 business days
- Store credit: Issued immediately upon approval
- Replacements: Shipped within 5-7 business days after approval
Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund and show it in your account.
6.3 Original Shipping Costs
Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., we sent the wrong item or a defective product). Return shipping costs for damaged items are covered by Belula Art.
7. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange a damaged item for a different size, style, or product, you must:
- Return the damaged item following our return process
- Receive a refund or store credit
- Place a new order for the desired item
If you receive a damaged item and would like a replacement of the same product, we can send a replacement directly without requiring a return of the damaged item in some cases (at our discretion).
8. Special Circumstances
8.1 Lost or Stolen Packages
If your package is marked as delivered but you did not receive it, please contact us immediately. We will work with the shipping carrier to investigate and may provide a replacement or refund at our discretion.
8.2 Wrong Items Received
If you receive the wrong item due to our error, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for the correct item to be sent and provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect item. This is not considered a "return" and is handled as a shipping error.
8.3 Multiple Damaged Items
If multiple items in your order are damaged, each item will be evaluated individually. You may return all damaged items in a single return shipment using one Return Authorization number.
9. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a smooth return process, customers are responsible for:
- Inspecting items immediately upon delivery
- Contacting us within 30 days of delivery if damage is found
- Providing accurate and complete information about the damage
- Following return instructions provided by our customer service team
- Properly packaging items for return to prevent further damage
- Using the provided return shipping label or ensuring proper tracking if using your own method
10. Limitations and Exclusions
This return policy applies only to purchases made directly through belula.art. The following limitations apply:
- US Customers Only: This policy applies only to customers shipping to addresses within the United States
- Final Sale Items: Items marked as "final sale" are not eligible for return, even if damaged (we will work with you on a case-by-case basis)
- Custom Artwork: All custom artwork is final sale and cannot be returned for any reason
- Gift Purchases: Return policies apply to the original purchaser. Gift recipients should contact the purchaser for returns
11. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Return Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
Your continued use of our Service after any changes to this Return Policy constitutes your acceptance of the modified policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
